Caution urged for LGBT+ dating app users
Story posted/last updated: 26 March 2019
Following a number of anti-LGBT hate crimes across the city, West Midlands Police are encouraging anyone using dating apps to meet people to take extra care around their safety.
As a Trust, we care for lots of LGBT+ patients on a daily basis. If you know someone who may meet men through dating apps such as Grindr, please make them aware of the advice from Police to be safe, particularly if meeting someone they have not met before.
The safety of all our patients and staff continues to be our priority. Members of the public with concerns are advised to contact West Midlands Police.
