Digital arts event at QEHB

The Young Persons Council is bringing digital arts to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham (QEHB) in a project that will create a new piece of artwork for the Trust.

The ‘Selfie’ project will be launched at a digital art event taking place on Saturday 11 October 2014 to help produce the artwork which will become a feature on Level 4 of QEHB.

With a chance to work with photography and smart devices, the workshop will explore the popularity of social media, with those attending learning more about capturing and editing visual imagery.

Taking place in the Plaza Restaurant on Level 2 at QEHB, The interactive session will run from 11:00 – 15:30. It is open to both patients and staff aged 16-25.

Participants will receive a certificate of attendance and a £10 Amazon voucher as thank you for their involvement.
