More outpatient services move to QEHB

The second outpatient transfer of Move 5 to the new Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham (QEHB) took place over the weekend.

A number of clinics from Main Outpatients at Selly Oak Hospital and old Queen Elizabeth Hospital have come together in Area 3 Outpatients on level 0 of the hospital.

The following clinics transferred in the latest move and open to patients today (Monday 8 August):

  • Cardiology
  • Cardiac Surgery
  • Respiratory
  • Vascular
  • TIA
  • Rapid Access Chest Pain Clinic (from the Hayward Building, SOH)

These clinics join the outpatient services that were transferred during the first part of Move 5 at QEHB:

  • Dermatology
  • Burns and Plastics 
  • Trauma and Orthopaedics 
  • Hands, including Therapies (from the Hayward building at Selly Oak Hospital)
  • Associated Imaging
