Orchard and Gardens: upcoming events

Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham (QEHB) will be hosting a range of events as part of the ‘Helping Britain Blossom’ initiative, led by national charity The Orchard Project.

All are welcome to attend the free family activities.

Upcoming events

Pruning Workshop

The Pruning Workshop will take place on Saturday 18 November 2018 from 12:00 – 15:00 at QEHB.

The workshop offers the opportunity to learn how to prune and care for fruit trees.

If you would like to attend the event, please dress for outdoor work and meet outside the Main Entrance of QEHB.

Tree Dressing

The Tree Dressing event will take place on Tuesday 28 November 2018 from 12:00 – 15:00 at QEHB.

The event offers the opportunity to help create decorations to dress fruit trees.

If you would like to attend the event, please dress for outdoor work and meet outside the Main Entrance of QEHB.

Wassail

Wassail will take place on Saturday 13 January 2018 from 18:00 – 19:30 at QEHB.

Wassail is a noisy celebration and procession through the orchard and gardens at QEHB to wish good health to the orchards for the coming year.

If you would like to attend the Wassail, please bring drums, whistles and neighbour.
