Pharmacy and GP opening hours over the festive period

Story posted/last updated: 13 December 2019

As Christmas and the New Year approach, remember that not all pharmacies and GPs will be open during the festive period.

It is a good idea to order any repeat medication you need ahead of the holidays.

Bank holiday opening hours for pharmacies and GP extended access times in the Birmingham and Solihull area can be found on the Birmingham and Solihull CCG website via the links below.

If you need medical advice or help over the holiday period, and it isn't an emergency, you can call NHS 111 for advice, 24/7, who will direct you to the most appropriate service. In a medical emergency where there may be a risk to life, always call 999.
