Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham

Planned fire alarm test

Story posted/last updated: 03 August 2018

Today (Friday 3 August), we will be carrying out a planned fire alarm test at Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham.

The exercise will involve the hospital’s fire alarms sounding for approximately 20 seconds in various areas at pre-planned times throughout the day.

If you are visiting the hospital today, please do not be concerned if you hear the fire alarm test. In the event of a genuine emergency, staff will be on hand to advise you on evacuating the building.
