Story posted/last updated: 29 November 2012
Staff, patients and visitors at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham (QEHB) will get a close-up view of the Barclays Premier League Trophy next week.
On Thursday 29 December from 14:00 until 16:00 the iconic silverware, which has been held aloft by some of the most famous players in world football, will be showcased in the hospital’s main entrance.
Bring your camera with you and you can have your photo taken with the trophy, in return for a donation to the hospital’s official charity.
Mike Hammond, chief executive of the QEHB Charity which is co-ordinating the visit, said: “We’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone at the Barclays Premier League for making this possible. It’s not often you get the chance to have your photograph taken with a major trophy, so why not bring your camera in and be the envy of all football fans?"
