Selfie art project for 16 – 25s

Story posted/last updated: 29 September 2014

Are you aged 16 – 25? We're holding an event where young people can make a piece of artwork to put up at Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham (QEHB).

Participants will work with a digital artist on a project called "Selfie" to make an art installation that will be displayed in the hospital. There will be a second event a few weeks later to show the final work that they've helped to create.

Date Saturday 11 October 2014
Time 11:00 15:30
Venue Plaza Restaurant, Level 2, QEHB

If you're interested in attending, please contact Lorraine Bateman (please state any dietary preferences).

Telephone: 0121 371 4957
Email: Lorraine.Bateman@uhb.nhs.uk

You will get a certificate of participation and a £10 Amazon voucher as a thank you for taking part.

Parking for the event will be free, and we can cover the cost of public transport if you keep your ticket to show us.

If you have been a patient, you will have the opportunity to give anonymous feedback on your experience of treatment at the hospital.

Don’t delay

There is a maximum of 40 people for this event.

If you are unable to come on this occasion but would like to hear of future events, please let Lorraine know.
