Singing star pays visit

Story posted/last updated: 29 November 2012

Opera singer Katherine Jenkins made a private visit to injured military patients being treated at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham (QEHB) on Monday 12 December.

The mezzo-soprano spent two and half hours at the hospital talking to patients and staff on the ward.

Ms Jenkins was at QEHB in her role as a trustee of The British Forces Foundation, a charity which boosts the morale of servicemen and women on the frontline and in operational theatres all over the world.
