Nutrition and Hydration Week 2015

UHB supports Nutrition and Hydration Week 2015

Nutrition and Hydration week is world wide campaign to promote good nutrition, share positive practises and to further educate professionals on the importance of nutrition and hydration in a healthcare setting.

The awareness week takes place between the 16 and 22 March 2015. During this time, dieticians will be visiting wards around QEHB, conducting therapy nutrition care rounds. Staff will also be taking part in a Worldwide Afternoon Tea Day on 18 March serving nutritional treats to patients and visitors. 

As well as the activities above, staff will be promoting and distributing information on the following topics in the QEHB atrium;

Friday 20 March Nutritious snacks and snack boxes
