BCHI fitting
The bone-conduction hearing implant (BCHI) is fitted when the abutment fixture has fully healed.
The fitting appointment will involve the tuning and fitting of the aid and lasts about an hour. You will also be given instructions concerning the use and maintenance of the aid.
Follow-up and Review appointments
These usually take place at eight weeks after fitting, and then as needed.
