Cardiology

The University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust Cardiology Department is one of the largest in the UK and provides treatment for patients with every type of heart disease. There are specialist services for adults with congenital heart disease and for heart disease in pregnancy that provide high quality care to patients from the West Midlands and beyond.

The department is based at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham, although some pre-screening clinics still take place at the old Queen Elizabeth Hospital. We work closely with colleagues in the Cardiac Surgery department.
