Research and development

Research is key in helping develop the management of patients with HIV.

We are an established research unit, having worked for a number of years on clinical trials in HIV and also genito-urinary medicine.

We believe our success is based on:

  • our people - we have a team of professionals, all of whom have been trained in their field, providing information and co-ordinating trials. All our team work in accordance with good clinical practice guidelines
  • our expertise - over the years we have built up expertise in a number of fields. We have experience in Phase III and IV trials in HIV disease and associated conditions, especially in the areas of new antiretroviral treatments (HAART) and lipid/metabolic disorders

We also have research expertise in areas as diverse as pelvic inflammatory disease (PID), chlamydia, gonorrhoea, genital herpes, genital warts and all sexually transmitted infections.

Patient/subject safety is our number one priority.
