Living kidney donors

Who are we?

We are a small group of patients with experience of living kidney donation. We are willing to share our experiences and offer support to anyone considering living donation.

What are our aims?

  • To encourage a wider understanding of living donation
  • To support those considering living donation
  • To promote the development of the living donor transplant programme at Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham (QEHB)

How can we help?

You can talk to our volunteers via email or telephone if you would like to share your concerns.

Alternatively, perhaps you may prefer to attend one of our informal meetings, where we encourage family and friends to come along too. We will also arrange talks from the transplant team and patients to discuss all aspects of living donation.

How can you contact us?

You can contact Sue Moore or Leanne Carter at QEHB via telephone or email.
