Patient support and helplines

Rheumatology nursing support service

The Rheumatology nursing support service provides the following services:

  • Supervision and management of patients with rheumatic disease and their drug treatment
  • Advice regarding any aspect of arthritis management and treatment for patients, relatives, carers or health professionals in our locality

Helpline for patients

UHB have a dedicated Rheumatology helpline for patients under our care. The helpline is available at varying times, usually for one hour a day. 

Upon calling the helpline below, an answer message will inform callers of the times the helpline will be manned. Please note the helpline is not an emergency service.

Medicines Helpline

The Medicines Helpline is available to UHB patients for any questions they have related to their medicines.

Pharmacy staff will be available to answer questions on the number below from Monday to Friday, 10:00 - 13:00, 14:00 - 15:00.
