Advisory alarms

An advisory or amber alarm can be identified as follows:

  • Flashing yellow wrench on the user interface
  • 'Call hospital contact' displayed on the screen along with a message indicating the reason for the alarm
  • Slow beep alarm tone

Please call your LVAD coordinator as soon as possible for diagnosis and instructions.

The alarm can be silenced for four hours by pressing the 'silence alarm' button or until a new hazard alarm occurs
