  • In 2015, there were 850,000 people living with dementia in the United Kingdom. By 2051 this figure is estimated to rise to over two million
  • Of the 850,00 people diagnosed with dementia in the UK, 685,812 are from England alone, with 73,406 being from the West Midlands
  • Dementia affects 1:14 people over the age of 65
  • More women than men will be affected by dementia in their 80s, due to women living longer
