Information for students
Undergraduate and pre-registration
Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham (QEHB) is a teaching hospital and the Physiotherapy department provides undergraduate and pre-registration masters placements for students from both the University of Birmingham and Coventry University.
Postgraduate placements
We also offer MSc postgraduate physiotherapy placements and these can be arranged by contacting us directly. Please direct your queries to Lynn Lord (Clinical Lead, Physiotherapy Outpatients).
Work experience
We offer work experience for those considering a career in physiotherapy. Please see the Trust work experience page for details, including how to apply.
For those over the age of 17, we offer the chance to shadow University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust (UHB) physiotherapy staff.
