Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, for the foreseeable future clinics will be conducted over the telephone or by video. If you need to be seen in person following this, arrangements will be made for you to attend the Haemophilia Centre. Where blood tests are required, depending on the test in question, you will have the option of attending an off-site phlebotomy clinic or the Haemophilia Centre. There are some blood tests that can only be performed by attending the Haemophilia Centre.

If you have a bleed and need emergency review, the existing arrangements remain in place. However, it is important you phone ahead so we know to expect you. If you have symptoms of COVID-19 you must inform us so we can make appropriate arrangements for your arrival. Where possible we will try to deal with your problem over the telephone to minimise the need for you to attend hospital.
