UHB histories
In June 2010, services at the Queen Elizabeth (QEH) and Selly Oak (SOH) hospitals began to be transferred to the new Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham (QEHB). The new building is Birmingham’s first new acute hospital for 70 years.
With this historic occasion in mind, we are looking back and celebrating the intriguing stories of the facilities that have shaped our past.
