Pain management

The Pain Management Service provides an outpatient service to assist people who have chronic pain.

Our multi-disciplinary team of doctors, nurses, physiotherapists and clinical psychologists, supported by our office manager and secretarial staff offers education, advice, treatment and support to people who have chronic pain. There are various strategies available to us to help people with pain to manage their pain more effectively and live a more active and productive life.

We are able to offer our clients a facility in which an assessment can be made in one clinic visit when they will be seen by a doctor, a physiotherapist and a psychologist, which enables a holistic treatment plan to be determined.

The Clinical Nurse Specialists (CNS’s) run their own pain management clinics either face to face or by the telephone.
