Publication scheme
Under Section 19 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000, University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust (UHB) has a legal duty to adopt and maintain a publication scheme for the publication of UHB information. This publication scheme is a guide to the information routinely published by UHB. It is a description of the information about our Trust which we make publicly available.
We shall review the scheme at regular intervals and monitor how it is operating. It is important to us that this scheme meets your needs and we have designed it to be a route map so that you can find information about UHB.
The purpose of the Act is to promote greater openness by public authorities (of which UHB is one). The publication scheme will help you to find the following information.
- Class 1: Who we are and what we do
- Class 2: What we spend and how we spend it
- Class 3: What our priorities are and how we are doing
- Class 4: How we make decisions
- Class 5: Our policies and procedures
- Class 6: Lists and registers
- Class 7: The services we offer
- Copyright
- Cost of information
- Feedback and queries
- Our publications
