Quality Account and reports

The Trust's official Quality Account for 2020/21 is available below and provides an update on progress made towards the seven quality improvement priorities for 2020/21:

Priority 1 Reducing pressure ulcers
Priority 2 Timely and complete observations including pain assessment
Priority 3 Reducing missed doses
Priority 4 Reducing harm from falls
Priority 5 Timely treatment for sepsis
Priority 6 Freedom to Speak Up
Priority 7 Timely medical review

Performance has been reviewed and new targets set where appropriate. The report also contains performance data for a selection of Trust and specialty-level quality indicators.

For 2021/22, the Trust has decided to keep one of the above quality improvement priorities and add five new ones:

Priority 1 Freedom To Speak Up
Priority 2 Improving VTE prevention
Priority 3 Improving ward rounds
Priority 4 Improving diabetes management
Priority 5 Improving nutrition and hydration
Priority 6 Improving the safety of invasive procedures

The Trust's quality accounts for previous years are also provided below for reference.
