Due to the growing numbers of staff and visitors in the Heritage Building (QEH), the Catering team at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust (UHB) were inundated with requests to extend opening hours at the Clock Tower Restaurant and increase the hot food options on offer.

We did

As a result, jacket potatoes with hot fillings are now available at the Clock Tower on the ground floor, main corridor in the Heritage Building (QEH).

In addition, opening hours have been extended from 09:00 – 15:00, Monday to Friday.

Laura Clarke, Deputy Catering Manager, said: “We are always eager to receive feedback from staff, patients and visitors and try to put their suggestions into action where possible. There are now a number of clinics and staff areas located in the Heritage Building (QEH) so we are pleased to be able to offer more options and longer opening hours.”
