Our services
The Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham (QEHB) Physiotherapy department is one of the largest physiotherapy departments in the Midlands. It is situated within Therapy Services, which also comprises Speech and Language Therapy, Dietetics and Occupational Therapy.
All our physiotherapists are state-registered members of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
As one of the country’s leading teaching hospitals, student physiotherapists and other staff are trained here. As part of their training, they sometimes examine and treat patients under clinical supervision from qualified members of staff. You must give consent for a trainee physiotherapist to see you. If you would prefer not to be involved in any training activity please inform your physiotherapist. This will not affect your treatment or care in any way.
